Expo Dubai 2020. The World Expo is the 3rd largest event in the world after the Olympics and the World Cup. This event is usually held every five years with alternate venues in one country to another.
For expo 2020, which was delayed due to the pandemic, and this year the Expo 2020 Dubai is being held, which is attended by 192 countries around the world. Indonesia’s participation in Expo 2020 Dubai is the 8th for its participation in the World Expo.
What is Expo 2020 Dubai ?
Expo 2020 Dubai is a series of world expos which is the oldest and largest event in the world. This very prestigious event at the world level is always followed by almost all countries with the aim of displaying various innovations, potentials, and ideas for mutual cooperation.
Expo dubai 2020 Dubai is open from October 1, 2021 until March 31, 2022. World citizens are invitd for 182 days to attend to absorb some of the world’s innovations, creativity, humanity, technology and culture. This is the first time the expo has been held in the Middle East. South Asia and Africa, and the first time it has been held in an Arab country.
Expo 2021 Dubai is committ to building a sustainable heritage, as well as being a new measure for the World Expo during this pandemic with the theme “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”. This event explores three sub-themes, namely Opportunity, Mobility & Sustainability, which are three sub-themes that are very important for the world.
The first is with the Opportunity sub-theme which is built from organic and recyclable materials in the hope that it can be useful for development purposes, with several interactive activities and exhibitions.
For this sub-theme, Mobility will explore the movement of goods, people, ideas and data. In addition, to explore how mobility has moved human civilization around the world.
And lastly, the sub-theme of Sustainability, this aims to emphasize the relationship between humans and nature. And our impact on nature. With the hope that visitors can better understand the impact. That their behavior or activities have on the environment so that then they are ready to become agents of change.
Pavilion in Dubai Expo 2020
The three zones or sub-themes will accommodate a pavilion of 192 countries for participants at the Expo 2020 Dubai event. Expo 2020 dubai as a whole was held in an area that reached 438 hectares. And for the state of Indonesia, it occupies the Opportunity zone.
